IDA EBEID is a member of the Technology and Life Sciences Transactions practice in Sidley’s Palo Alto office. Ida advises clients in a wide range of industries on IP and technology-related transactions, primarily in the context of mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, ownership and licensing of copyrights, trademarks, patents and trade secrets, manufacturing and supply agreements, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ida served as an in-house legal intern for a Top 100 artificial intelligence company in San Francisco, studying the role of AI/ML-enabled privilege review and redaction in various forms of litigation and FTC second requests. She was also project manager for the Video Game Bar Association, where she developed programming for over 500 industry practitioners in the gaming and eSports space.
Ida earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law where she served as co-chair of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, president of the Middle Eastern and North African Law Student Association, and associate editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. She also participated in UC Berkeley’s Curriculum Committee and helped pass several proposals to reform the J.D. and LL.M. curriculum.
