Fischer Jörg

JÖRG FISCHER is a partner in Sidley’s German tax practice. He represents large cap and middle market private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies as well as large private companies in connection with complex transactions including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and general tax matters.

Jörg advises on German and international tax matters, with a particular focus on the structuring of private equity and M&A deals, reorganizations, restructuring transactions, as well as fund structuring.

Jörg’s clients include private equity funds and private companies across a variety of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, software and technology, e-commerce, financial services, and renewable energy.

He has extensive experience in domestic and cross border tax structuring, carve-outs, distressed investments, special situations and structured equity investments, and joint venture transactions.
