CAMPBELL YATES has a broad range of experience advising clients on investment sales and acquisitions, financing, landlord and tenant matters, as well as corporate sales acquisitions. His experience spans a diverse range of asset classes notably data centers, logistics sites, purpose built student accommodation and office and hotel and leisure spaces.

Campbell collaborates closely with our Private Equity, Energy  Infrastructure, and Finance practices on deals with a strong real estate focus.

His recent experience includes advising:

• The senior lender group in connection with the real estate aspects of the senior secured financing of nLighten, a pan-European data centre platform backed by I Squared Capital, to fund its expansion across the UK
• A major global asset manager on a financing of a pan-European data center platform.
• A major UK lender on the provision of finance secured on an extensive hotel portfolio.
• A UK developer on a number of land purchases for development as logistics sites including obtaining development finance and eventual leasing strategy.
• A UK real estate investment platform on a wide range of asset management matters including a reorganization and regear of a logistics site and numerous grant of office leases to occupiers.
• A global asset manager on the sale of a purpose built student accommodation portfolio.

• Campbell advises a major global charity on the grant of a new office lease, and advises the same charity regarding a potential landlord dispute at their UK headquarters.
