Sidley lawyers Tom Ward and Stanley Boris will be featured speakers at Nacha’s 2024 Smarter Faster Payments annual conference May 6, 2024 – May 9, 2024 in Miami Beach. The annual conference brings together payments professionals from financial institutions, solutions providers, fintechs, and corporations to engage on topics of interest to the payments industry.
Mr. Ward, a partner in Sidley’s Financial Institutions group and a former Enforcement Director at the Consumer Protection Bureau, will be featured in a session entitled “Nearing the Finish Line: What to Expect from the CFPB in an Election Year” on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 10:25 a.m. ET, and in an interactive Topical Talk entitled “Ask the (Former) CFPB Enforcement Director” on Tuesday afternoon at 2:15 p.m. ET.
Mr. Boris, a counsel in Sidley’s Financial Institutions group, will speak on “Recent AML Developments for Payments” on Wednesday, May 8 at 4:05 p.m. ET.
