On October 7, 2020, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission adopted new Rule 12d1-4 under the Investment Company Act of 1940 to consolidate previous rulemaking, no-action relief, and other guidance and to streamline and enhance the regulatory framework applicable to funds of funds.
