Mr. Pikiel, Mr. Puttré, Mr. Millar, and Mr. Selinger join the firm’s offices in New York, Miami, Washington, D.C., and Houston, respectively. All four join from Winston Taylor LLP, where Mr. Pikiel was Co-Chair of the Project Finance practice, Co-Chair of the Energy and Infrastructure industry group, and also served on the Executive Committee. Mr. Puttré was Chair of the firm’s Projects – Latin America practice.
Mr. Pikiel, Mr. Puttré, Mr. Millar, and Mr. Selinger have extensive experience in energy, infrastructure, and project finance matters, collectively representing clients across a broad spectrum of complex transactions both domestically and internationally.

He represents infrastructure funds, private equity investors, developers, and strategic companies in complex investments and transactions.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mike, Patrick, Rich, and Tom to the firm. What makes this group exceptional is their experience in global energy and infrastructure transactions across a wide variety of assets ranging from power plants to pipelines and toll roads,” said Yvette Ostolaza, Chair of Sidley’s Management Committee. “Mike and Patrick’s deep project finance experience, Rich’s extensive experience developing and financing energy and infrastructure assets across the U.S. and Latin America, and Tom’s highly specialized FERC regulatory and enforcement practice, add to our genuinely differentiated platform that few firms can match.”
“The arrival of this group comes at exactly the right moment. Our Energy, Transportation and Infrastructure practice has seen dramatic growth through the first half of 2026 over the same period last year, driven by the continued boom in data center development, the reshoring of manufacturing, and the massive expansion of infrastructure and renewable energy investment,” said Brian Fahrney, Chair of Sidley’s Executive Committee. “Adding Mike, Patrick, Rich, and Tom directly addresses that growth and positions us to capture the full scope of opportunities ahead.”
