Monika Zdzieborska Named One of “Europe’s Best Up and Coming Female Lawyers” by Law.com

Monika Zdzieborska, a senior managing associate in Sidley’s London office, has been included in Law.com International’s 2023 “Rising Stars: Europe’s Best Up and Coming Female Lawyers” list. The annual feature highlights 25 “exceptional up-and-coming female lawyers.” Law.com International’s research takes into consideration nominees’ client base and client feedback, as well as the scale, significance, innovation, and complexity of their deals.

Monika focuses on various aspects of EU and UK competition law, including dominance, cartels, co-operation and distribution agreements, and merger control. She regularly represents clients in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union and in investigations by the European Commission, the UK Competition Market Authority, and the UK Financial Conduct Authority. Monika focuses in particular on the tech sector. She regularly advises clients on antitrust issues relating to digital platforms, online media, e-commerce, AI, and new technologies.
