Sidley Partner Heather M. Palmer Recognized as an “Outstanding Business Leader in Law” by the Houston Business Journal

The Houston Business Journal has honored Sidley’s Heather M. Palmer with the “Outstanding Business Leader in Law” award as part of its Women Who Mean Business Awards 2024. The awards program recognizes the achievements and contributions of women who have established outstanding careers, while shaping the community in the greater Houston area.

Heather is an award-winning environmental and energy lawyer who co-leads the firm’s ESG and climate change practices. She advises clients on a broad range of ESG issues and related risks, including climate change disclosures, ESG governance, sustainability reporting, and carbon capture and sequestration. She also counsels clients on environmental law, regulatory compliance, and environmental aspects of mergers and acquisitions in the energy, chemicals, manufacturing, power, and renewables sectors.
