Sidley Represents OCI Energy in Joint Venture With Arava Power for 260-MW Solar Project

Sidley represented OCI Energy, a clean energy developer based in San Antonio, Texas, in a joint venture with Arava Power, an Israeli solar energy company, to develop Project SunRoper, a 260-MW solar project in Wharton County, Texas. Project SunRoper is set to begin construction later this year. The project will provide critical clean energy to one of the highest electricity demand areas in Texas and the United States.

The Sidley team was led by partner Jessica N. Adkins, with assistance from Mario R. Samos, Jeff Kinney, Kevin E. Hess (all Energy and Infrastructure), and Angela T. Richards (Tax).
