Sidley Lawyers Recognized by the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers
Sidley is pleased to announce that Global Finance partner Annie Wallis has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL), and Global Finance partners Robert Lewis and Elizabeth Tabas Carson have been elected to the ACCFL’s Board of Regents. In addition, retired partner Pamela Martinson has been honored with the Homer Kripke Achievement Award.
These recognitions were announced at the ACCFL’s Annual Meeting & Dinner held on April 18, 2026.
Election as a Fellow of the ACCFL is a significant honor, reflecting a lawyer’s distinguished career and substantial contributions to the field of commercial finance law through practice, scholarship, and professional leadership. Fellows are selected through an invitation-only process and must be approved by the organization’s Board of Regents.
The ACCFL is a professional organization composed of leading practitioners, jurists, and academics dedicated to promoting excellence and innovation in commercial finance law and to fostering collegiality and ethical practice within the profession.
The Board of Regents serves as the governing body of the ACCFL, with members elected by Fellows to help guide the organization’s mission and activities, including the advancement of education, scholarship, and legal reform in commercial finance.
The Homer Kripke Achievement Award is among the ACCFL’s highest honors, recognizing individuals who have made exceptional and sustained contributions to the field of commercial finance law.
