Biography
DARA ADEOYE focuses her practice on global finance.
Prior to joining Sidley, Dara practiced law in Nigeria, where she focused primarily on transactional work. In 2024 she earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa, where she was awarded the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence for her work on Critical (Dis)ability Theory and Carceral Culture.
Dara obtained her LL.M. in corporate and commercial law from the University of Illinois in 2021, with honors, and was a student of the Racial Justice Practicum. She also obtained her LL.B. from Babcock University in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2017.
