John R. Floss

JOHN FLOSS represents a wide range of corporate clients with complex immigration matters, including large multinational corporations, U.S. publicly traded and privately held companies, universities and healthcare institutions, and high potential start-ups. He represents employers, businesses, and individuals in varied fields, including biotechnology, IT and cloud computing, computer networking, healthcare and assisted living, transportation, real estate development, architecture, and high net worth individuals.

He has extensive experience in all facets of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, with a focus on employment-based immigrant visas (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, and EB-5) and H-1, L-1, TN, E, and O-1 visas. John regularly practices PERM- and National Interest Waiver-based immigrant visas.

John has comprehensive experience in EB-5 immigrant visas, including representation of EB-5 investors in all contexts (I-526/I-526-E/I-829/removal proceedings) and EB-5 Regional Centers.

John is experienced in I-9 compliance, wage and hour compliance, immigration support for mergers and acquisitions, and employment-related claims and disputes. 

John has extensive experience in administrative, state, and federal litigation, including writs of mandamus, declaratory judgments, petitions for review, and advocacy in front of U.S. district and appellate courts and U.S. Department of Justice removal proceedings.
