JEFFREY GLICK advises issuers and underwriters in a broad range of structured finance transactions, including residential mortgage-backed securitizations (RMBS) and asset-backed securitizations. In connection with his RMBS practice, Jeff represents banks, private equity funds, credit funds, and insurance companies in the purchase and sale of residential mortgage loans and related assets, including first- and second-lien mortgages, home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), residential transition loans (RTLs), and home equity investment products.
Jeff has been recognized in the 2021 and 2022 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for his work in Banking and Finance Law.
Prior to returning to Sidley, Jeff served as in-house counsel at a large global asset manager where he focused on the acquisition and disposition of residential mortgage loans, the securitization of residential mortgage loans and of legacy RMBS securities, and the negotiation of warehouse and repurchase financing facilities.
While attending Boston College Law School, Jeff was an executive board member and editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest and the recipient of the “William J. O’Keefe Award.”
