ALYSSA HASBROUCK is an associate in the New York office’s Litigation group.
Alyssa graduated cum laude from Cornell Law School, where she served as a notes editor for the Cornell Law Review. Her student note, “Rethinking ‘Just’ Compensation: Dignity Restoration as a Basis for Supplementing Existing Takings Remedies with Government-Supported Community Building Initiatives,” was published in Volume 104. Alyssa was also a quarterfinalist in the National Moot Court Competition, where she received the Justice Lewis F. Powell Jr. Medal for Excellence in Advocacy. Alyssa served as an executive bench editor for the Cornell Moot Court Board and was the co-president of Cornell’s Lambda Law Association. She received her B.A. from Yale University.
Prior to joining Sidley, Alyssa was an intern for The Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where she researched civil and criminal appeals and reviewed cases proposed for oral argument.
