Sidley represented Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), a leading semiconductor and telecommunications technology company headquartered in San Diego, California, in its acquisition of Arduino, an Italian-based open-source hardware and software company. Arduino’s platform enables users to easily produce prototype electronic and robotic devices. By integrating Arduino’s platform, the acquisition will enhance Qualcomm’s position in the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.
