Joseph S. Hendricks

JOSEPH HENDRICKS focuses his practice on the formation, offering, and operation of private investment funds, including private equity funds and hedge funds. He regularly advises clients on transactions, including GP stakes deals and buy-side and sell-side secondaries, as well as advising on corporate and regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining Sidley, Joe worked as in-house counsel for a large New York-registered investment adviser, where he was involved in private fund offerings and private equity deals, including GP stakes deals and secondaries transactions.

Joe received his B.A. from Clemson University and his J.D. from the Duke University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law.
