Biography
DR. CHRISTOPH JENSEN advises creditors, debtors, and shareholders on financial and operational restructurings in both non-insolvency and insolvency situations, predominantly in a cross-border context, as well as on all matters regarding German insolvency law.
He also advises private equity sponsors, strategic investors, funds, corporations, and financial institutions on complex domestic and cross-border acquisition finance, leveraged buyouts, and other corporate finance transactions.
Prior to joining Sidley in 2020, Christoph was a trainee in the restructuring and finance practice of another international law firm.
He is fluent in German and English.

- Grab Holdings Ltd. on its strategic investment in Vay Technology GmbH.
- Monarch Collective on its investment into FC Viktoria Berlin.
- ADVANZ PHARMA, a Nordic Capital portfolio company, in connection with the issuance of €917 million (equivalent) in new euro- and pound sterling-denominated senior secured notes and the borrowing of a €165 million term loan B facility.
- Deutsche Bank on the financing of the acquisition of Suter Group by Heizkurier Group, a portfolio company of NORD Holding.
- Rivean Capital on the acquisition of Green Mobility Holding GmbH.
- An Austrian bank on its financing of a real estate development project and the sale of the iconic luxury hotel under construction to a family-owned investor.
- Schur Flexibles Group, an international flexible plastic packaging manufacturer, on its successful financial restructuring.
- Gilde Buy Out Partners on the sale of Pro Gamers Group to HAL Investments and Management.
- ARDIAN France S.A. on the acquisition of a majority stake in the GBA Group.
- IDEX Corporation in connection with its acquisition of ABEL Group from Hillenbrand, Inc.
