Antonio Lopez

ANTONIO LOPEZ JR. focuses his practice on representing clients in the offering and formation of private investment funds and representing institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds, with a particular emphasis in secondary transactions and venture capital. He has experience with the establishment, registration and operation of registered open-end funds. In the past year, Antonio has led or co-led the transfer process for LP-led secondary transactions involving the acquisition of limited partner interests representing approximately US$3.75 billion in aggregate capital commitments.

Prior to joining Sidley, Antonio worked in the compliance department of a multinational technology company, where he drafted and revised dozens of global corporate and compliance policies. Prior to this, he worked at a real estate equity firm and a trust and estates law office.

While attending the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, Antonio also earned a certificate in business management from The Wharton School.
