Tony S. Mekari

TONY MEKARI focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, securities litigation, and white collar criminal defense and investigations.

Prior to joining Sidley, Tony served as a judicial law clerk in the Eastern District of California.

Tony earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law. During law school, he externed for two federal judges, was heavily involved in the school’s trial and negotiation teams, and was inducted into The Order of Barristers.

As a former football collegiate athlete at the University of California, Berkeley, Tony brings a competitive edge and team-oriented approach to his practice.
