Alexandra L. Newland

ALEX NEWLAND  received her J.D. with high distinction from The University of Iowa College of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Corporation Law. Alex earned her B.S. in accounting from Northern Kentucky University.

Prior to joining Sidley, Alex worked as an accountant at a S&P 500 company.

• Houlihan Lokey, Inc. in its acquisition of Triago Management Development, a global advisory firm.
• Mapbox, Inc. in its Series E preferred stock financing, led by SoftBank Group Corp.
