EMILY OLIVERA focuses her practice on the areas of M&A, corporate governance, and securities.
Emily has been recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America® for Corporate Law.
Emily received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While attending Loyola, Emily was a student article editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. Emily was also a member of the Thomas Tang Moot Court team, earning 1st place at the National Competition and a member of the National Moot Court Competition team, earning 1st place at the Midwest Regional Competition. Emily graduated summa cum laude from Drake University with a B.S.B.A. in entrepreneurial management with a concentration in business law.

Emily’s representative matters include:
- Newfold Digital, a leading web commerce company backed by Clearlake Capital Group, LP and Siris Capital Group, LLC, in the carveout sale of Markmonitor to Com Laude, the London-headquartered supplier of corporate domain services backed by PX3 Partners.
- Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TDS) in the US$4.4 billion sale of United States Cellular Corporation’s (NYSE: USM) wireless operations and select spectrum assets to T-Mobile US, Inc. (NASDAQ: TMUS), including a combination of cash and up to approximately US$2 billion of assumed debt.
