ANDREA VILLARREAL focuses her practice on structuring, operations, management and offerings of venture capital investment funds, and advises investment managers on a variety of transactions and investment structures, including funds-of-funds and special purpose vehicles. Andrea also advises clients with respect to their investments in funds as well as their management company agreements, organizational structure, internal operational, and other related matters. Andrea’s clients pursue a range of investment strategies and span various industries, including FinTech, cryptocurrency, gaming, space exploration, food and beverage industry, and infrastructure.
Andrea earned her J.D. from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was valedictorian of her class and an associate editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review.
Prior to law school, Andrea worked in education as a high school English teacher and earned her M.A. in educational leadership, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston-Victoria. Andrea also earned her B.S. in interdisciplinary studies, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston.
