JI HYE YOU represents alternative lenders, financial institutions, corporate borrowers, financial sponsors, and their portfolio companies in a broad range of sophisticated debt and equity financing transactions. Ji Hye has extensive experience structuring and negotiating domestic and cross-border financings and special situations transactions, including cash flow and asset-based financings, acquisition financings, recapitalization and other leveraged financings, first lien and second lien transactions, split collateral financings, and debtor-in-possession and exit financings.

Ji Hye’s practice spans a wide range of industries, including, retail, manufacturing, agribusiness, real estate, technology, healthcare, food and beverage, and sports and entertainment. She advises on transactions of all sizes, from club financings for middle market companies to broadly syndicated facilities for large public companies.

• Private credit investment fund in a term loan facility to an operator of one of the largest airport concessions and retail businesses.
• AppLovin Corporation (NASDAQ: APP) in US$3.55 billion senior notes offering and US$1 billion unsecured revolving credit facility.
• Sixth Street Partners as agent and lender for FILO facility and DIP financing to Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.
• Sixth Street Partners as agent and lender for FILO facility and DIP financing to Number Holdings, Inc. (the parent company of 99 Cent Only Stores LLC).
• Brightwood Capital in connection with its financing to Lone Peak Dental Group, a pediatric dental support organization.
• Global investment fund in connection with preferred equity investment in an agricultural products business.
• MGG Investment Group in connection with its investment in Watercress Financial Group LLC, a point-of-sale originator of home improvement loans to consumers.
• Insurer and provider of financial services products as borrower in a term loan facility.
• Global asset management fund in a split collateral financing to an outdoor lifestyle retailer.
• Global investment firm in connection with secondary loan portfolio purchases.
