Sidley Expands Global Finance Practice With Addition of Leah Edelboim in New York

New York – Sidley is pleased to announce that Leah Edelboim has joined the firm’s Global Finance practice as a partner in Sidley’s office in New York. She was previously a Fund Finance partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. Ms. Edelboim is joined by counsel Ashley Flaherty in Charlotte, along with a team of eight associates based in New York, Chicago, and Charlotte.

Ms. Edelboim represents major financial institutions acting as lenders and administrative agents and other market participants across the full spectrum of fund finance products. Her practice focuses on syndicated, club, and bilateral subscription credit facilities, as well as NAV facilities, hybrid structures, management fee lines, GP financings, capital relief trades, and other tailored financing arrangements. With significant experience in both borrower and lender-side representations, Ms. Edelboim has often been called upon to help clients devise creative structures that reflect evolving regulatory requirements and investor trends. She also has deep experience advising ratings agencies and providers of financial guaranty and insurance products in fund finance transactions.
