Sidley Adds Marissa Gluck to Global Finance Practice in New York

July 14, 2026

New York – Sidley is pleased to announce that Marissa Gluck has joined as a partner in the firm’s Global Finance practice in New York. She joins from Latham & Watkins LLP, where she practiced in their Structured Finance practice in New York.

Ms. Gluck advises banks, issuers, underwriters, investors, placement agents, borrowers, lenders, funds, and other financial institutions on a broad range of structured finance, securitization, and other secured financing transactions. She has significant experience with esoteric asset-backed securities, including securitizations involving affordable housing, fintech and startup company assets, data centers, transportation assets, and venture capital investment financings. She also counsels clients on the development of bespoke structured finance vehicles and products.

“As our clients’ financing needs continue to evolve, we remain focused on investing in lawyers with the ability to advise on sophisticated financing transactions across an expanding range of asset classes. Marissa’s experience spans key areas like fintech, data centers, transportation, and venture capital that reflect the evolving financing needs of our clients across these emerging sectors,” said Yvette Ostolaza, Chair of Sidley’s Management Committee.

“Marissa has built an impressive sponsor-side practice in affordable housing securitization and brings experience across a broad range of esoteric asset-backed financings,” said Nancy Chung, managing partner of the New York office and a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Executive Committee. “Her practice complements our market-leading structured finance capabilities, and just as importantly, her collaborative approach and entrepreneurial mindset make her an outstanding fit for our team. We look forward to working with Marissa as we continue helping clients execute innovative financing transactions across the evolving structured finance market.”

The arrival of Ms. Gluck follows Sidley’s addition of 11 other Global Finance partners in 2026 alone — Lee Askenazi, Alistair Dunlop, Sumita Ahuja, Katarina Molnarova, Jeffrey Ross, Leah Edelboim, and Ji Hye You in New York; Rebecca O’Brien and Robert Hagan in Washington, D.C.; Jeremy Trinder in London; and Ike Chidi in Century City.
