LAUREN MCBRIDE focuses her practice on healthcare enforcement and litigation matters. Lauren has defended clients in matters involving alleged violations of federal and state false claims acts, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and antitrust laws, among others. Lauren has represented a range of clients, including private equity firms, clinical diagnostic laboratories, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, skilled nursing facilities, and insurance companies.
Lauren earned her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she was a notes editor for Northwestern University Law Review and a student law clerk in the Center on Wrongful Convictions. While in law school, she served as an extern for The Honorable Marvin E. Aspen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and was awarded the “Arlyn Miner Book Award” for exemplary first-year writing. Lauren received her B.A. in public policy studies (health policy), summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
Prior to law school, Lauren worked at a nonprofit health law firm focused on Medicaid access.
