Sidley Represents Pictet Alternative Advisors in its Acquisition of Pareto FM

Sidley represented Pictet Alternative Advisors (Pictet), the alternative investment business of Pictet Group, on its first investment through its new direct private equity team, acquiring a controlling interest in facilities manager Pareto FM (Pareto).
Pareto is an award-winning and ESG-driven provider of technical and facilities services to the built environment, offering operational, maintenance, and management services in buildings across the UK and globally.
The Sidley team was led by Private Equity Infrastructure partner James MacArthur, supported by managing associates Teresa Sun and Beatrice McGuire, associate Camilla Tagliabue, and trainee Abdullah Shah, all from the London office. The broader team included partners Patrick Harrison (Antitrust), Jason Menzies (Tax), James Crooks and Emilie Stewart (Finance), Peter McCorkell (Employment), Rachpal Thind (Regulatory), Jade Williams-Adedeji (Real Estate), Francesca Blythe (Data Protection), and Alastair Hopwood (Regulatory); senior attorney Jo Bainton (Health and Safety); and associates Andrew Dibden (Tax), Matilda Dolin (Finance), Maeve Gillespie (Employment), Bethany Wise (Antitrust), Eleanor Dodding (Data Protection), Zhuan Faraj (Regulatory), and Samantha Cumming (Regulatory).
