Sidley represented DigiCert, a leading global provider of digital trust backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., Crosspoint Capital Partners L.P., and TA Associates Management L.P., in its acquisition of Valimail, an email authentication service used by its more than 92,000 clients worldwide to help protect companies from phishing and other cybersecurity threats. The acquisition helps DigiCert expand its offering to customers by bringing Valimail’s “zero trust email authentication” service to the DigiCert ONE platform.
