Sidley Represents Dine Brands in Its Acquisition of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

Sidley is representing Dine Brands Global, Inc., the parent company of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar® and IHOP® restaurants, in its agreement to acquire Fuzzy’s Taco Shop from Experiential Brands LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of NRD Holding Company, for US$80 million in cash. The transaction will add a highly franchised, fast-casual brand in the fast-growing Mexican category to Dine Brands’ portfolio of brands. The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.
