Sidley Represents Affiliates of Castle Creek Capital in US$60.7 Million Investment in Republic Bank

Sidley is representing affiliates of Castle Creek Capital LLC in their investment in Republic First Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for Republic First Bank, doing business as Republic Bank. Castle Creek Capital and its affiliates have committed to participate in the bank’s capital raise for an aggregate amount of US$60.7 million, making Castle Creek the lead investor in the company’s US$125 million capital raise.

The Sidley team is being led by Vijay S. Sekhon (M&A and Private Equity), and includes Ryan M. Hicks and Cameron Turkzadeh (M&A and Private Equity); and Michael D. Lewis, Matthew S. Katz, and Nicole Cary (Banking and Financial Services).
