Sidley Advises Orion Industrial Ventures in Ceibo’s US$30 Million Series B Financing

Sidley advised Orion Industrial Ventures, as part of a consortium, in the US$30 million series B financing round of Ceibo, an operator of an industrial biotechnology company intended to support a sustainable mining industry. The round was led by Energy Impact Partners, with participation from a syndicate of new mining-focused investors including CoTec Holdings, Audley, Unearth, and Pincus Green, along with existing investors Khosla Ventures and Aurus Ventures.

The Sidley team was led by Dr. Idan Netser (Emerging Companies and Venture Capital, Tax) and Jake Funk (Emerging Companies and Venture Capital), and also included Noam M. Waltuch (Tax).
