Sidley represented SupplyHouse, a proprietary e-commerce platform serving professionals in the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades, in connection with a minority investment from KKR & Co., a global private equity firm. Since its founding more than 20 years ago, SupplyHouse has served over seven million customers and has established itself as a leading online construction retailer, driven by its TradeMaster loyalty program, nationwide logistics network, and best-in-class, customer-centric service team. KKR’s minority investment, made through its Ascendant Strategy platform, will help accelerate SupplyHouse’s next phase of growth.
The Sidley team was led by Dan Clivner and Ryan Hicks (M&A and Private Equity), and included Vijay S. Sekhon, Karin Baca, Rudy Ramirez, and Kimberly Sheehan (M&A and Private Equity); Eric Wolf, Gregory Matisoff, Nicholas Carballo, and Lindsay Fisher-McFarland (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation); Steven Rutkovsky, Shayona Schiely, Shneur Wolvovsky, Christian Kelling, and Damian Tan (Global Finance); Rachel Kleinberg and Jonathan Westreich (Tax); and Rachelle Soderstrom (Technology and Life Sciences Transactions).
