NICOLE BAADE is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Disputes practice group. She has completed a fellowship with Bet Tzedek’s Elder Justice Program, where she helped elders file for Elder Abuse Restraining Orders.
Prior to joining Sidley, Nicole served as a clerk for the Honorable Daniel P. Collins of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Nicole earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, cum laude, where she served as the editor-in-chief for the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and spent a semester working for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts drafting an appellate brief and a motion. She also worked for the New England Legal Foundation researching cases for potential amicus briefs on the Takings Clause, the Class Action Fairness Act, and products liability. Nicole received a B.A., cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis.
