Megan Cox

MEGAN COX advises clients on a wide range of UK and cross-border tax matters. Her practice spans private equity and M&A transactions, management incentive arrangements, structured finance, and debt and leveraged finance transactions.

Megan regularly works with sponsors, corporates, financial institutions, and management teams to deliver commercially focused and pragmatic tax advice across the full deal lifecycle.

She trained and qualified as a solicitor in Sidley’s London office, gaining broad transactional experience across the firm’s private equity, M&A, and derivatives and structured finance practices.

Megan’s recent experience includes advising:

• Funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. in the acquisition of a majority stake in Prosol Group, a multi-specialist in fresh food businesses and food retail in France. 
• Evri, a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc., in its merger with DHL eCommerce, the e-commerce logistics specialist of DHL Group.
• Pepper Advantage, a leading international credit management and technology firm backed by J.C. Flowers & Co., on its pending acquisition of Computer Loan Services.
• Canva Inc. in an investor-led secondary transaction.

• Advised on corporate pro bono matters supporting startups focused on sustainability and economic development in emerging markets.
• Collaborated with Kids in Need of Defense (“KIND”) to help a client successfully obtain British citizenship.
• Contributed to several family law pro bono matters through partnerships with Not Beyond Redemption and the Free Family Representation and Advocacy Project.
