ALEX KRAEMER has extensive structured finance experience, with a particular focus on asset-backed transactions and the related EU, UK, and U.S. securitization regulatory frameworks.

Alex advises fund sponsors, investment managers, arrangers, lead managers, and investors on structured finance transactions across a broad spectrum of asset classes (including middle-market direct lending, auto, SME, and non-performing loans; residential and commercial mortgage loans; credit card and trade receivables; as well as more esoteric asset classes, such as sports and media rights receivables), and his work encompasses a wide range of public/private financing structures (including asset-backed fund financings, master trusts, CMBS, ABCP conduits, covered bonds, whole-business securitisations, CLOs, and receivables purchase transactions; as well as synthetic securitizations and credit insurance-wrapped financings for credit-rating substitution and/or capital-relief purposes).

Alex has also advised arrangers and lead managers on numerous debt capital markets transactions (including high yield, corporate bond, hybrid bond, sovereign bond, and project bond issuances; regulatory capital trades; and liability management exercises).
