Ying Liu

YING LIU advises leading private equity firms and their portfolio companies, focusing on cross-border transactions, including M&A, take-privates, hybrid capital, minority investments, carve-outs, and co-investments. In addition, Ying has extensive experience working for both private equity and corporate issuers, as well as underwriters, on their initial public offerings, high yield bond offerings, and other debt finance transactions.

Ying has advised on a broad range of transactions across Europe, including the UK, Italy, Ireland, Slovenia, as well as certain capital market transactions in Asia. She works with clients investing in a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing and industrials, financial services, technology, infrastructure, and gaming.

Recent examples of Ying's work include:

• Apollo-managed funds in their acquisition of a majority stake in Kelvion, a leading global provider of energy-efficient heat exchange and cooling solutions, from funds advised by Triton Partners.
• Funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. in:
  • their acquisition of the Netherlands-based equipment leasing specialist Beequip B.V. from NIBC;
  • the sale of Summit Leasing Slovenia, a leasing company in Slovenia and Croatia;
  • the acquisition of United Living Group;
  • the sale of Nova KBM d.d. to OTP Bank; and
  • acquisition and financing of Miller Homes, a leading UK homebuilder
• European private equity sponsor in acquisition of an Ireland-based toll road concession operator.
• Lottomatica Group S.p.A. and its selling shareholder on its initial public offering.
• Various Asian issuers’ initial public offerings in the U.S. and Hong Kong.
