Lauren’s trade remedies practice includes antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), trade policy and national security investigations (commonly referred to as Section 301, Section 232, and Section 201 investigations), and issues related to tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). She has extensive experience assisting a wide range of clients with these matters, including U.S. manufacturers, U.S. importers and purchasers, foreign manufacturers, and governments.

Lauren received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as a submissions reviewer for the Harvard International Law Journal and as a teaching fellow for Professor Jody Freeman. She was also an active member of the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic. Lauren received the “Dean’s Scholar Prize” for exceptional work in two courses: The International Law of the Sea as well as Gender Violence, Law, and Social Justice. Lauren received her B.A. in English and political science (with a concentration in political economy), summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to law school, Lauren served as an international trade policy analyst, where she focused on World Trade Organization (WTO) matters, U.S. trade remedies, and U.S. trade policy vis-à-vis China and the Americas.
