国际劳工和劳资法
概述
Our practice does not stop at the shores of the United States. Working with lawyers in our overseas offices and tapping into our professional relationships with other firms in dozens of countries, we serve the needs of many U.S. and global companies on employment and labor issues that arise in their international operations.
We advise companies on how to make and implement day-to-day employment decisions arising from specific employee problems in particular countries. We also help companies develop comprehensive policies and procedures applicable to their employees throughout the world. Our experience includes:
- Developing employment contracts (with non-competition provisions) and stock option agreements for the highest-level employees of a major global client in dozens of countries around the globe. We continue to advise clients on their movement of employees to extended assignments in other countries.
- Advising global companies on how to conduct credit history, criminal record and other background checks of their employees in various countries.
- Working on behalf of large multinational companies, maintaining ongoing relationships with and coordinating counsel worldwide in connection with employment issues related to acquisitions, divestitures, closings, hirings and terminations.
