Sidley Represents Caidya in Its Acquisition of Simbec-Orion

Sidley represented Caidya, a leading global contract research organization (CRO), in its acquisition of Simbec-Orion, a UK-headquartered CRO specializing in clinical pharmacology, oncology, and rare disease clinical research. The strategic combination expands Caidya's global clinical development capabilities by adding Simbec-Orion's early-phase expertise, including its leading Phase I clinical pharmacology unit, and strengthens the combined organization's presence across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Caidya is a global CRO that partners with biopharmaceutical companies to advance complex clinical development programs across a range of therapeutic areas. Simbec-Orion brings nearly five decades of experience supporting innovative biopharma companies through specialized clinical pharmacology and later-stage clinical trial services. The combined organization will provide an integrated platform supporting sponsors from first-in-human studies through late-stage clinical development.
