Sidley Represents Enbridge in the Acquisition of Salt Creek Midstream’s Crude Gathering Business

Sidley is representing Enbridge Inc. (Enbridge), through a wholly owned subsidiary, in their definitive agreement to acquire Salt Creek Midstream’s crude oil gathering business in the Permian’s Delaware Basin. The transaction is expected to close later in 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

The acquired business pairs full ownership of the Orla and Wink North gathering systems with a 50% interest in the Delaware Crossing (DCX) system. Together the assets span roughly 500 miles of gathering pipeline across the core of the Delaware Basin, carry up to 420,000 barrels per day, and offer 350,000 barrels of storage. The footprint is anchored by long-term dedications covering approximately 320,000 net acres and a producer base of more than 20 counterparties — a heavily contracted profile that underpins durable, fee-based cash flows in one of the most actively drilled oil regions in North America.

The Sidley team is being led by Houston partners Atman Shukla and Cliff Vrielink, with support from Stephen Boone and Anthony Hilbert (all Energy and Infrastructure).
