CANDICE LIANG’s practice focuses on energy and infrastructure matters.
She obtained her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law where she served as a staff editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. During this time, Candice clerked for Chief Judge Orlando L. Garcia at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
During law school, Candice was actively involved in pro bono initiatives such as the Texas Law Gender Affirmation Project, the Expunction Project, and the Clinic for the Arts with Texas Law Art Association. She also participated in the Children’s Rights Clinic, where she advocated in the best interest of children in court.
Prior to law school, Candice earned a B.A. in philosophy and economics from Vanderbilt University.
Candice is a native Mandarin speaker.
