Sidley advised Huma Therapeutics, whose digital health technology is used across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to power “hospital at home” virtual wards and decentralized clinical trials, on its acquisition of iPLATO Healthcare. iPLATO Healthcare’s patient engagement software covers a network of 26.6 million patients across nearly 3,000 NHS primary-care organizations and its “myGP” app is one of the most downloaded digital health apps in the United Kingdom.
