ELIZABETH HARDCASTLE is an associate in the Healthcare practice in the Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, including strategic counseling in connection with public policy proposals and implementation issues. Beth has experience in federal healthcare program coverage, coding, and reimbursement issues; government price reporting; healthcare compliance programs; health information privacy and security; managed care matters; healthcare contracting; government agency and congressional investigations; and healthcare fraud and abuse.
Beth has worked with numerous clients, including pharmaceutical, biologics, and medical device manufacturers, durable medical equipment suppliers, patient advocate organizations, clinical laboratories and diagnostic test manufacturers, healthcare professional societies, and health information technology companies, among others. She also has represented a number of individuals and organizations on a pro bono basis in matters challenging Medicaid coverage denials, appealing disability benefits denials, and advocating on healthcare public policy issues.
Prior to law school, Beth worked as a research assistant at the Harvard School of Public Health’s Department of Health Care Financing and competed on the U.S. Paralympic Swim Team in the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.
