Dr. Christian Zuleger

DR. CHRISTIAN ZULEGER is co-head of Sidley’s European Corporate and Private Equity group. He focuses on complex international M&A and private equity transactions. Over the last two decades, he has lead numerous high-profile deals.

As in previous editions (2020–2024), Christian is currently ranked “Best Lawyer” by Handelsblatt Best Lawyers 2025 for Private Equity Law, Mergers and Acquisitions Law, and Corporate Law. In the 2024/2025 edition of the JUVE Handbook, Christian is recognized as “Often Recommended” for Private Equity. Sources from the 2019/2020 edition described him as “extremely prudent” and “one of the strongest Mid-Cap lawyers in Munich.” More recently, Legal 500 EMEA 2025 recommended Christian for Private Equity Transactions: Mid-Cap (Germany). 

He is fluent in German and English.
