EVAN GROSCH is an associate in Sidley’s office in Houston where his practice focuses on strategic investor relations, securitizations, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance involving public companies. Evan has experience advising clients on a broad range of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, including the disclosure of climate-related risks in SEC filings, the review of shareholder proposals relating to ESG topics, the development of corporate ESG programs and goals, the preparation of sustainability and corporate responsibility reports, advising companies in response to investor pressure related to ESG issues, and compliance with third-party reporting frameworks.
Evan graduated with a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. There he served on the Executive Board for the Texas Business Law Society as the co-director of the Texas Transactional Skills program. Evan placed “Best Overall” at the Texas Annual Transactional Skills Program, and was a quarterfinalist at the Hutchinson Moot Court Competition.
Currently, Evan serves as a mentor for law students as part of the University of Houston Law Center’s first-generation student mentoring program.
