PATRICK GRAHAM advises clients on a wide range of UK and cross-border tax matters. His practice spans private equity and M&A transactions, structured finance, debt and leveraged finance, insurance and capital markets transactions.

Prior to joining Sidley, Patrick worked as an Associate Director in the tax practice of a global professional services firm in Australia.

Recent examples of Patrick’s work include advising:

• Vivo Capital on its acquisition of Dutscher Group.
• Advised Partners Group a leading global private markets firm, on the financing arrangements for its acquisition of premium pet food company MPM Products, a global pet food business focused on premium cat food.
• Apollo-managed funds in their acquisition of a majority stake in Kelvion, a leading global provider of energy-efficient heat exchange and cooling solutions, from funds advised by Triton Partners.
• STORY3 Capital Partners, the Los Angeles based private equity firm, on its significant minority investment in Adanola, a leading UK-based athleisure and activewear brand.
• ADVANZ PHARMA, a Nordic Capital portfolio company, in connection with the issuance of €917 million (equivalent) in new euro- and pound sterling-denominated senior secured notes and the borrowing of a €165 million term loan B facility.
