Biography
NOEL LI advises global financial institutions ranging from banks to investment firms on UK and EU financial services regulatory issues, including in relation to AIFMD, Brexit, and EMIR.
Noel trained and qualified as a solicitor in the firm’s office in London, where he gained experience with the Commercial Litigation and Disputes, Banking and Financial Services, Global Finance, and Antitrust/Competition practices.

- A global investment firm on its joint venture with a global sovereign investor to invest in, and secure the supply of, strategic metals and minerals.
Community Involvement
Pro Bono
Noel undertook a three-month pro bono secondment to Small Steps SFP, a charity for disabled children, from October 2021 to December 2021.
Noel has successfully represented clients in relation to:
- Appeals to the Social Security and Child Support Tribunal for denial of/reduction in Personal Independence Payment benefits.
- A discretionary application to the Home Office for grant of UK citizenship under the British Nationality Act 1981.
- An application for a charging order in respect of unpaid judgment debt in a breach of National Minimum Wage civil case.
